I probably should've mentioned this sooner, but tomorrow I'm going out of town for three days. The place I'm staying at has wireless, but part of the point of going is working on NaNo and I'm already waaaaaaaay behind so I need to do some serious writing. So. I'll try to get posts in while I'm gone because I'm sure I'm far too addicted to not do so but tomorrow and Thursday will involve driving there and back and...stuff, so my hours will be a little weirder than usual. Just be warned. ♥

(Also unless anyone wanted Hanatarou this shift I'm just not going to throw him out. So if I had plans with you and forgot, or if you particularly wanted to thread with him, speak now....)

I'm super-lame for not asking sooner, but what's your room number again? We need to be better about this planning thing, especially where after-hours are concerned.

Also, I think Peter's heading up an expedition to investigate what's up with Professor Logan and our other friend Matt--did you want to come along? Alex I think it'd be okay if you came too... (Is it okay Peter?)

I have nothing new to report on Captain Kirk's condition, though I felt I should inform you that I responded to a public inquiry asking which Starbase this was. On my response, the author informed me that impersonating Starfleet personnel was a punishable offense (of which I am aware), and when I attempted to identify myself, the message was removed.

Have you encountered any enemies of Starfleet, Commander? With how strangely death works in this place, I am concerned that Nero (or another anti-Starfleet individual) may be among the prisoners.

If I have anything further, I'll of course report it.

A day later than expected, but I'm back and coming off hiatus. I'm still up for backthreading with everyone, and I'll get to everyone asap. I'll also get not!Klavier posted to 4th shift soon, since I believe he's the only one who had any concrete plans this shift. Thanks for the patience, people.

All right, here is the list of everyone who wrote an Oktoberfest fic and met all the requirements, thereby earning the prize of a canon outfit for one of their characters. If your name is on this list, comment to this post with which character is getting an outfit and I'll approve it. Then you'll be good to go, and that character can find their outfit this nightshift (or during the dinner shift, if you want). Yes, there are some people who are not in the game on this list. You can comment now with your projected idea or come back and comment here when you do have a character in the game.

Despite the bit of bravado he'd displayed for Yuffie's sake, seeing her that way really had done a number on him. It was a good thing he'd found the bulletin board afterward. Having it confirmed that this state wasn't normal (was, in fact, new as of that morning) made it much easier to think positive. They'd get back the Yuffie they knew one way or another.

The girl had gone into the other activity room, so when Cloud was offered a choice he picked the room she wasn't in. He wouldn't be able to keep a watch on her this way, but neither would she be able to throw another fit over being stalked. This also gave him a chance to keep an eye on the board for anything else important that might show up.

Sighing, the blond made himself comfortable on one of the sofas, watching both the nurses and the cats roaming the floor. What were the people in charge of this place trying to accomplish?
